1) create a prototype or model to scale with an orthographic drawing properly annotated and added to the webpage,
2) develop a stand-alone multimedia presentation on a web page created by each group as required by Kickstarter
3) document work to promote and demonstrate ideas of the invention or innovation an a separate webpage.
What items need to be in your project webpage? Make sure the layout of the webpages in a logical order, the pages do not need to be the checklist order.
Webpage Checklist - 8th grade Innovation/Invention Project.
All of the items in the check list need to be in your webpage in a clear and concise manner that does not require searching the webpage for each item. Grade points will be deducted for any missing items.

___2. Why your solution needed and can it be real?
___3. Budget and costs, what does it cost to make and to sell?
___4. Who is involved?
___5. Support for Design – research on how your solution is viable.
___6. How it meets Criteria and Constraints

___8. 3D model or prototype, if it is a presentation there must be at least 2 minutes of a sample presentation.

___11. Citations page. This is of any and all research your team has done to confirm your project is needed, how it works, and does not already exist. All images must also be cited. If your product does not have a citations page with at least 3 viable citations, Google is not a citation, the project will be considered incomplete and will not be graded.

At all times during the preparation for this event, team members should understand that their audience (the evaluators) will be taking on the role of venture capitalists interested in providing funding for the development of an invention or innovation.D

Company Roles must be clearly stated on the presentation:
- Chief Executive Officer (CEO)- oversee and facilitate; completes unfinished work; presents argument as to why their company has the best solution (bells & whistles, celebrity endorsement, special offers) ; organizes team folder and completes Daily Debriefing Sheet after communicating with team members Daily Process Sheet handed out in group file.
- Chief Operating Officer (COO)- makes sure presentation is complete and introduces, organizes, and runs presentation
- Chief Financial Officer (CFO)- materials, money management, budget; presents reason for materials, budget, and support for design (Website) Material Request Form Click Here
- Senior Engineer (SE)- makes sure design meets criteria/constraints; introduces design and what it’s (device or process)
IF there is not 4 people in your group, one or more person must take on a dual role. If there is 5 people one person may share duties.
