Invention and Innovation Challenge
My team will investigate and determine the need for an invention or innovation of a device, system, or process and brainstorm possible solutions to determine the best idea for the invention or innovation.
Innovation and Invention drive today's market and economy, your team will analyze the needs and solutions for new solutions. Teams must work together to study engineering solutions to create a new innovation or invention. Are there solutions that your team can develop that will create a profitable new innovation or invention?

Challenge-Objective
Teams will take the information they have learned and use the Engineering Design Process to create a new innovation or invention to solve a solution to a new device, process, problem, or system by creating a Kickstarter style campaign following the all criteria and constraints and the given rubric.

Each group will have the opportunity to design a product or system using the engineering design process using existing materials provided by teachers or any recycle materials the groups may wish to bring in at a zero cost. The design process will allow students to combine their creativity with their subject matter knowledge to solve a complex problem.
Team members will:
1) create a prototype or model, and
2) develop a stand-alone multimedia presentation and video on a web page created by each group crowdfunding style requests, and
3) document work completed as they prepare to promote and demonstrate their idea for the invention or innovation stated in the rubric, and
4) make a final presentation of their project in class.
